Aditi attending Summer Camp

Now that the schools are closed for the vacation, Aditi has been put in a "Summer Camp" for the past 15 days. This activity is at Yellow bus on the 2nd Avenue, Besantnagar, near Eden restaurent. She goes at 9-30 AM and returns by 12-30.

Some sort of "passing away time" - the latest fad among mothers.

Sriram surgery

My eldest son ARUN's son Sriram (now 3 years) had a minor surgery done on Saturday the 23rd April 2011. It was done at Swaram hospital, on the 1st East Street, Kamaraj Nagar, Tiruvanmiyur.

Sriram had a small growth of skin on his penis and doctor advised circumcision. The child was admitted in the hospital by 1 PM on 23rd, got the surgery done from 2 to 3 PM. General (full) anasthesia was given, and the child woke up at 6 PM from the anasthesia effects. He was given water first and then milk and juice later.

As there was no complication, he was discharged by 8-30 PM. Arun-Gayathri were in the hospital throughout, and Vijaya and I from 4-15PM to 8-30PM.

Sriram's 3rd Birthday

Sriram (Arun) celebrated his 3rd birthday on 7th April 2011. The function was in his Tiruvanmiyur house and a few close relatives and friends (of Sriram) were invited.

Sriram wore his new dress and cut the cake at 5-40PM, cheered by all. Then all of us had gulab jamun, pizza, French fries, to eat. The children had popcorn in addition. Followed by juice.

The other guests left by 6-30 and we stayed for dinner. The function was simple and elegant.
